Karen Porter

Happy New Year!

It is early morning in the words at Mt Porter. The skies are grey but there is hope for sunshine later.

This weekend will be a clean-up-pack-up-put-away blur. Trees must come down and all the bright gaudy decorations removed. I really don't want to start but I want the serenity of clean house to return so I will do it!

Reflecting on the holidays I rejoice over the days that all the kids were home. Four grownup kids and five grandbabies - all under five. What a wonderful, exhilirating, active, lovely time together. I loved every single tiring second of it.

As I reflect, I thank God for the family and the sweet friendship and love we share.

Blessings to all for a January morning.
